Giving God Our Best

In Five Years Time

With no concern for our emotional, mental, or spiritual capacity to process change, it feels like our entire existence has been tossed up into the air and everything familiar rearranged!  We have been left disoriented, going through the motions, and tired, so tired. In this series of sermons we will listen to the call of our faith through simple stories that ground us anew, help us remember whose we are and spark in us new energies.

Lessons learned from scripture

Rhoncus rutrum dictum at pariatur donec, non nulla, pellentesque ipsum odio gravida aliquam et nibh, egestas faucibus sollicitudin, et nulla dictum proin neque at lorem. Vulputate volutpat ullamcorper blandit lectus tellus. Diam ut, orci amet. Ac donec tortor tincidunt lorem.

Not one of us can claim we got ourselves where we are all on our own. This series looks at the ways God shows up to us over our lifetimes.

We are called into community with others and Jesus simply echoes the Old Testament as he makes clear that how we treat others defines our relationship with God. More than what we say, more than what we accept without evidence, more than what we confess or profess, what is important is how we act in relationship to others.

Have you ever been looking right at but not seeing the thing for which you were looking? Sometimes we just need someone to point out what we are seeing.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
