Stacey was raised in Seoul, Korea, and attended Ewha Women’s University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Piano Music. During her college years she accompanied many solo singers and choirs as well as musicals. Since moving to the United States, Stacey has attended Colburn Conservatory. She received her master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy and earned the Suzuki instructor certification from Temple University. Stacey has studied under many acclaimed pianists, including Dr. Heewon Kwon and Daniel Pollak. She taught at Haverford School and Rosemont School as well as Huntingdon Valley Christian Academy in the Philadelphia area. Her teaching experience includes several prize-winning students in Pennsylvania and New York who have performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kimmel Center. Stacey received the excellent teacher’s award from the “Music Fest” committee.
She recently moved from Philadelphia to Gilbert and teaches at the East Valley School of Music in Chandler.
